The Alongside Africa Ugandan team provides hands-on support to these vulnerable children on the streets of Kabale in Uganda. More and more children are coming and benefiting on a day to day basis.
These children are alone & vulnerable.

The centre is open for street children and offers a safe and convenient environment for the children. Help us change more lives
About 50 percent of the population in East Africa is aged 15 or younger, due largely to the AIDS epidemic. In Uganda alone, AIDS is the leading cause of death, killing 200 people a day. Consequently, the disease is leaving millions of orphaned children in its wake. Many of these children end up out on the streets, fending for themselves.
In line with our mission of providing opportunities and not aid to the less privileged, we offer an open door drop-in centre; a safe haven where street children can access basic necessities such as food, clothing and medical care. Our efforts are geared towards getting them off the street and into education and empowering them to live an independent life.
Our pledge to you

We will respect your donation and ensure that it is used in the best possible way. We appreciate that you have many choices as to whom you support and value that you have chosen us.
