You will be helping vulnerable street children find a stable home with a foster parent or to reunite them with their parent or family.

The AA street children programme supports street children by providing trainings in skills that allows them to live a fulfilling and independent life.
In line with our mission of providing opportunities and not aid to the less privileged, we offer an open door drop-in centre; a safe haven where street children can access basic necessities such as food, clothing and medical care, as well as the opportunities to enter into fulltime education or peered with a foster carer.
By donating to Amasiko Street Children Programme, you will be helping street children get access to basic necessities. They will also have easy access to counselling and the opportunity for a safe home at the Amasiko Halfway House once completed or be reunited with their family or peered a fostercarer.
Darius is a street child from the streets of Uganda.
There are over 1.9 million orphans in Uganda, some are street children sleeping rough on the street.
They can be as young as 6 years old. They are at risk of abuse and local authority treat their situation as a crime.
The Alongside Africa, Amasiko Street Children programme provides opportunities for children like Darius with nowhere to turn.

What we do with your money
100% of this money will go to help our projects in Uganda. There are no UK overheads. The money pays for food, for medical care, for our day centre, and for our programmes.
We personally know every child, every benefactor of our opportunities not aid programmes. We use the money to help people help themselves with our support and guidance.
